I’m a shipwright and captain by trade. The combination of my qualifications and experience gives me a rare amount of nautical know-how. After 40 plus years of Hull repair and refinishing, I have earned the respect from area Marine Surveyor’s , Insurance Company’s and Marine adjuster who value my opinion.
Before semi-retiring to Beaufort, South Carolina, I owned and operated New England Fiberglass Repair ( NEFR ) in Norwalk CT. est in 1985 to 2021.
Now I’m bringing my years of knowledge as a shipwright by trade on fiberglass repair and refinishing to SC. I hold a current seven time issued Coast Guard Caption license, so I know all about the construction of motor and sailing vessels. Most importantly I know about safety when it comes to you, your family and your investment.
I have handled warranty repairs in the CT/NY area for dealers and major boat builders. I’ve repaired everything from minor chips to collision and storm damage for my past clients. It’s a priority of mine to remain up to date on the latest materials and new repair techniques by regularly attending trade seminars. Whether it’s a kayak or a mega yacht, I’m qualified and equipped to get the job done and get you back out on the water. I take pride in my skills, knowledge and my 41 years of experience of boat repair.
